We're moving!

Well, it's official! We are moving back to St George in about 2 weeks. I have wanted this the entire 4 years since we have been gone, and now it's happening I am terrified. My husband got laid off over a month ago and hasn't found work. He's decided to go back to school, and we feel like Utah is a better fit for our kids at this point in our lives. I will be going back to work full time. I am just nervous about moving, hoping we are making the right decision. So there you go, I am a basket full of nerves like always lol.

Family update

Well, we are officially parents of a teenage boy! Tony just turned 13 on Feb. 6th. We took him out to dinner at a restaurant of his choice, had cake for him, and got him a game for the Wii. The following day we cut his hair. He was not very happy with us but we told him when he gets straight "A's" at school, he can grow it as long as he wants to!

Garrick left today to go work in Wyoming. The plan is he will be gone until May(we will not see him at all until then), then he will come home for a week or two and then leave again until August. We will then make our move back to Utah and he will leave again. We have to sacrifice right now because we want to be debt free. We are tired of struggling financially and this is the only way to make it work with me staying home with our 5 kids. Your thoughts and prayers are appreciated for our family that we will look at the positive and strive for excellence in the months ahead.

Dang it!

I wrote out this 2 paragraph blog and lost it! ACK! Oh well peoples. I'm not re-writing it tonight lol!

Happy New Year!!

Well, I haven't blogged in almost a year. Maybe this will be another resolution for this year so we can keep our friends and family updated on our busy lives.

Our New Year's Eve was pretty great. Garrick made fry bread for Navajo tacos...soooo yummy!! The kids went to bed, Garrick fell asleep at 10:15pm, and I stayed up watching reruns of "Scrubs" online. HAHA!!
